My world

is a white empty room

and I can't stand

watching myself in the mirror

I'd exchange it for water

for in a floating universe

I may finally be beautiful

like in my dreams

Because, when I dream

I am lovable

I remember

I used to like myself

but that's so distant

now there's nothing worth enough

to keep me here

so like a river, in its bed

I just keep going

I hope no more

that love will find me

a broken satellite

no more transmitting

please press the buttons

and restart the system

it rains on your face
are you cold? are you hopeless?
But I do remember

I hope your smile's still warm
you definitely were the sweetest
and in your arms the world was perfect
no more scary thoughts to haunt me

I gave you a present
a sky colored gem
and I kissed you, and told you
that I would always come to save you
no matter the cost
no matter the heartache
I foolishly hoped I could keep that promise

Rain, rain
so soft on your face
the most beautiful eyes, my mirror
I know you

You just breathe and say
that some things cannot change
well it's okay
as long as you smile I'll be happy

if I ever treated you roughly
